The Quarry ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website thequarrystl.com, the Quarry Rewards mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play), and the restaurant, bar, and event venue located at 3960 Highway Z, New Melle, Missouri 63385. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide to us.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Make a reservation, book a private event, or inquire about weddings or catering
- Sign up for our email list, wine club, or event notifications
- Purchase a gift card or event ticket
- Contact us by phone, email, text, or web form
- Apply for a position through our careers page
The information we collect may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, party size, event details, and any messages you send us.
Payment Information
Online payments (gift cards, ticketed events, deposits) are processed by trusted third-party payment processors such as Stripe and Square. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Please review the privacy policies of those providers for details on how they handle your payment data.

Quarry Rewards Mobile App
The Quarry Rewards app (iOS and Android) operates as a companion to our in-person dining and golf experience. The app additionally collects and uses the following information:
- Email and name — used to identify your rewards account. Sign-in is passwordless: we email a six-digit code each time you sign in on a new device. We do not store passwords.
- Receipt photos — when you scan a receipt to earn points, the app uploads the image to our backend, where we extract the receipt total and cross-check it against the corresponding closed-tab record in our Toast point-of-sale system. We do not retain the image after the points have been credited (or rejected). Receipt images are never sold, never shared with third parties beyond the Toast cross-validation lookup, and never used for any purpose other than crediting your visit.
- Rewards activity — your points balance, tier, history of visits credited to your account, and history of redemptions. This data is stored on our backend and is visible only to you and Quarry management.
- Device push tokens — when you enable notifications, the app registers a device-specific token with our backend so we can send you alerts about reward availability, point expirations, and tier changes. The token is tied to your account and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. We do not share this token with third parties.
- Anonymous crash logs — Capacitor (the framework the app is built on) may send anonymous crash and performance diagnostic data so we can fix bugs. This data does not identify you personally.
Camera and photo library permissions: the app requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the receipt scanner. You can decline either permission and continue to use the app — you simply won't be able to scan receipts through the app (you can still earn points automatically from purchases made with a card associated with your account).
Notification permission: the app requests permission to send push notifications. You can decline, and you can change this preference at any time in your device's system settings. Declining does not affect your ability to earn or redeem points.
Third-party services used by the rewards app: SendGrid (transactional email — sign-in codes, redemption confirmations), Toast (receipt cross-validation), Square (golf-bay booking payment processing), Anthropic (server-side AI receipt parsing — receipt images are sent for optical character recognition only and are not retained by Anthropic per its API terms), Apple Push Notification service (iOS push delivery), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android push delivery). Each of these vendors operates under its own privacy policy.
Data deletion: you can request deletion of your rewards account and all associated data at any time by emailing management@thequarrystl.com. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us operate the business (such as reservation, payment, email, and analytics providers), or when required by law.
Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in any message we send, or by contacting us directly. You may also request that we update or delete your personal information by emailing management@thequarrystl.com.
Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
