The Quarry was born from a shared belief that New Melle and the greater St. Louis region deserved something truly special — a destination where great food, live music, community, and the natural beauty of our quarry landscape come together in one unforgettable place. We didn't build The Quarry to chase a quick win. We built it to last, to grow alongside this community, and to become a place where memories are made for generations to come.

Rob brings deep roots in the hospitality and beverage industries to The Quarry. With executive leadership experience at First Watch and Southern Glazer's — including a role as Vice President — he has spent his career mastering the art of guest experience, large-scale food and beverage operations, staffing, and vendor relationships. His operational expertise forms the backbone of everything guests experience at The Quarry, from the quality of what's on the menu to the warmth of every interaction. Rob is known for his ability to build environments where both guests and teams feel genuinely taken care of — and that philosophy is woven into every corner of The Quarry.

Matt drives the business, financial, and strategic vision behind The Quarry. His background spans securing financing and grants, structuring deals, navigating compliance and policy requirements, and building sustainable systems that allow a business to grow responsibly and with purpose. Matt has been instrumental in earning the trust of local leadership — navigating approvals from Planning and Zoning, the Board of Aldermen, and the Mayor — and in positioning The Quarry for long-term growth. Known for being detail-driven, forward-thinking, and highly organized, he ensures that the vision Rob and he share isn't just exciting — it's achievable, protected, and built to last.
